HCC Black Mercedes 13N was Res. Div. winner at the Royal Winter Fair in 2003. She is out of HCC MERCEDES 6L who was Grand Champion Female at the Royal Winter Fair, and Res division at the NWSS in 2002. 13N’s first calf was a bull born in 2005, and showed as a bull calf throughout the year. He was Champion Bull Calf at the Royal Winter Fair, as well as Res Bull Calf at the North American Beef Congress (the only show he was beat at all year).  13N’s 2006 April heifer was also shown, and as a junior yearling she went undefeated.

Whitestone Rita 666T came to us from the Triara herd in QC. as our top choice from their 2009 production
sale.  Once we saw her daughter, who is pictured below and is now a donor for their program, the decision
was easy to add her to our donor program.  Aside from producing progeny with a very impressive phenotype, 666T has put together an impressive set of EPD's. She is in the top 3% of the breed for both MM and Milk and in the top 1% of the bred for REA.  She is also in the top 15% or better for WW, YW, and YG. Look for more out of this exciting new donor in the next few months as we plan on flushing her in the spring of 2010.

JL Evening Tinge 8001

 We purchased interest in JL Evening Tinge 8001 at the masterpiece sale in 2008 when she was just a heifer calf.  She is a daughter of HF Evening Tinge 57R, who sold to Johnson Livestock Sk, for $20,000.  Her maternal brother was also very impressive and sold for $28,500, and a paternal brother was Res. Grand Champion at the 2010 NWSS in Denver.  JL Evening Tinge 8001 was also very successful herself  throughout the 2009 show season.  She was admired by many for her depth of body, explosive hip, deep quarter and structural soundness.  At the end of the 2009 show season Evening Tinge was named Ontario Show Female of the year.
